The tour

What this tour is

The same walk through the historic centre as the standard private tour, with half an hour added at the end in a Bratislava beer house. Three samples of specialty local beer are served with a pretzel, and the guide stays with the party through the tasting rather than handing them over at the door.

Slovak brewing is older and considerably better than most visitors expect, and this is the easiest way to make that point. It works particularly well as an afternoon tour that runs into the evening, and as the sociable half of a day that started with something more formal.

The tasting is included in the tour; entrance fees anywhere on the route are not. For individual travellers the same combination runs under our retail brand as the private walking tour with beer tasting.
