The tour
What this tour is
For clients based in Vienna, Bratislava is the easiest day trip in Europe — an hour door to door, and a different country, currency history and architecture at the end of it. This is the private version: their own car, their own guide, their own start time, rather than a coach with forty strangers.
The day is a full Grand City Tour. An hour by car takes in the Presidential Palace, the functionalist villas of Palisády, Bratislava Castle and the Slavín memorial with the view over the whole city. Then two hours on foot through the old town — the opera house and the Reduta, the Main Square, the Old Town Hall and the Primate’s Palace, St Michael’s Gate and St Martin’s Cathedral, where the Hungarian kings were crowned.
Hotel pick-up and drop-off in Vienna, a licensed guide and an air-conditioned vehicle are included; entrance fees are not. The same trip runs for individual travellers under our retail brand as the Bratislava day trip from Vienna.
