The tour

What this tour is

Vienna to Budapest is a long enough drive that something in the middle of it is worth having, and Bratislava is an hour out of Vienna — barely a detour at all. The clients arrive in Budapest the same evening having seen a third capital on the way.

The stop is two hours on foot with a licensed guide through the old town: the baroque, medieval and gothic layers side by side, St Martin’s Cathedral where eleven Hungarian kings were crowned, the Old Town Hall and the Main Square. The clients then take an hour of free time or a two-course Slovak lunch before the second leg.

Two hours on to Budapest and a drop-off at the address of their choice. Hotel pick-up in Vienna, an air-conditioned vehicle and the guide in Bratislava are included. The same transfer runs for individual travellers under our retail brand as the Vienna to Budapest transfer with a Bratislava city tour.
