The excursion
What this day is
Bratislava and Vienna are both crown cities: the Austrian emperors were crowned in Vienna, the Hungarian kings in Bratislava. They are an hour apart, which means a group staying on either side can be shown the other without changing hotel.
The day is built around a three-hour Grand City Tour of Vienna with a local guide — one hour by coach along the Ringstrasse, two hours on foot through the centre — with lunch in a traditional Viennese restaurant and either free time or Schönbrunn afterwards.

How the day runs
The order can be changed, the day can be shortened, and it can be joined to another excursion — tell us what you need and we re-quote it.
Departure for Vienna
The driver meets the group in your hotel lobby in Bratislava for the hour’s drive across the border.

Schönbrunn or free time
The afternoon is either free time in the centre or a visit to Schönbrunn Palace, then the return transfer to Bratislava.
